Build your Website workshop is for small businesses and start ups who want a fresh start on a website, or need to build their first website. This is a guided course on how to successfully build a customer focused, Google friendly website in 6-10 hours total time. 5 hours will be in class time, and 5 hours should be planned for homework exercises between the two classes.

Session 1 (May 9th): Planning

Bring: Laptop, Your Elevator Pitch, Questions and Concerns

You’ll get: Website Basic Training and tools to plan the actual building of your site, some homework

Between class sessions you will be working on your website planner. A SBDC Advisor will be available if you need assistance.

Session 2 (May 30th):

Bring: Laptop, Weebly Login and Password, Logo and other Photos (1 per planned page minimum), Completed Page Planner spreadsheet.

You’ll get: A 3 page (minimum) website, basic Weebly SEO tactics, an expanded understanding of how things beyond your website affect your website SEO.

Note: Class does NOT include e-commerce/square payments integration.
