Job Description For Housekeeping
Job Summary
Crane Hot Springs Housekeeper’s primary function is to create a safe, clean
environment for guests staying at our rentals or visiting our facilities. This is done
through cleaning, restocking, resetting assigned units, following company
guidelines and procedures and reporting maintenance or safety issues. Attention
to detail, reliability and enjoyment of seeing one’s work completed are keys to this
role.
Areas of Responsibility and Duties
 Follow the required cleaning and inspection process.
 Observe established policies and procedures.
 Make beds, set towels, and replace used amenities.
 Vacuum, sweep and mop suites, cabins and various other units.
 Wash, dry, and fold linens and towels.
 Maintain vacuums and other cleaning supplies used to perform the job.
 Inform managers when housekeeping supplies are running low.
 Review property for any damage or needed maintenance and report to
department managers.
 Perform special projects as requested by the managers.
 Perform deep cleanings of rooms and cabins.
 At least one day a week team pond cleaning.
 Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
 High cleaning standards.
 Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull
 Ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time
 Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds
 Strong ability to follow verbal instructions
 Strong knowledge of cleaning supplies and procedures
 Ability to work independently without direct supervision
 Previous cleaning experience may be an advantage, but not generally
required
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
